But it's not me.. It's Ziva. She's always been a funny dog, but lately she's been eating more, and stealing a lot of our food! Today I caught her sniffing around my produce box- and realized she had already snatched TWO green peppers! Yes, she eats them! We found the butter dish out in her run, lid and all. The other day she ate our leftover roasted carrots as well.
I think she must be pregnant.....

This weeks Bountiful Basket and Pix
I finally figured out how to publish- after a week of it not working! Grrr!
Anyway, this weeks basket included 2 nectarines, 3 peaches, 2 mangos, fennel, broccoli, cucumber, sweet potatoes, beets, celery, lettuce, and corn! Suggestions on sweet potatoes, fennel, and beets would be welcome!!!

This is the stir fry I made when we had the bok choy... It was tasty, but we needed some rice! (I made so much I didn't think we needed a side, but it really would have enhanced the flavor.)
We are eagerly awaiting Esther's popping... Her poor belly is just rock hard and points out on both sides!
We enjoyed having Isabel and Alden over last week, and Isaac showed his big boy helper skills at assisting Alden with his lunch! Funny thing is, he really doesn't look that much bigger than Alden in the top photo!

Cold Tea Party
This is kind of a long story.. because it's more than one. First off, we have Esther. She is spying on the the chickens who venture up onto our porch to eat our cat food. Wierd? I think so too. The chicken, I mean.
Then yesterday, Kiera was desperate to have a tea party. To her, a tea party is out on the porch with real water (since I don't let them do it in the house.) We told her it was freezing cold (like 15 degrees...) but that she could do it if she really wanted. She quickly got out her tea party stuff and headed out to the deck. I got her a mason jar of water and a bowl of pretzels. Then we had trouble because Sissy didn't want to play. I looked out the door and Leo was eating the pretzels and drinking the water. So I took a picture...
Kiera was a bit upset by this until I told her that she could have a tea party with Leo and Kerzon (who had since escaped the house and pestering kitten). She was then happy with that.
Until that nasty chicken thought he would join the party as well.... Kiera tried chasing her off a few times.
And then all chaos broke out... At some point, the door was open enough for the spying, chicken-hating Esther to escape the house as well, and she took off like a shot after that chicken, with absolutely no regard for the fact that the chicken is twice her size....
