Shouldn't the third child be easier? Like, we already know everything, so why is he throwing new stuff at us? ;-) He doesn't like his binkie, he doesn't like being swaddled, he has gas like you wouldn't believe...
4 weeks in and we are still trying to figure each other out.
Any suggestions on what I should NOT be eating if he is a gassy kid? Cause, well, I guess guacamole isn't so great? Bummer.... it tasted so good...

I never limited my diet while I was nursing...both my kids were gassy but it didn't seem to matter what I ate. Is he more gassy after you've eaten certain things? Otherwise, I liked the little tummies gas drops for the times when it was really bad.
It seems like chicken affects me more than anything.
I am on a blog strike....I cannot give any advise until i see some pictures posted. LOL....no, things I did when breastfeeding Ethan is i drank lots of milk, avoided broccoli, avoided way spicy foods and gave him doses of Little Tummies drops fairly regularly.
So, Ken, I spent an odd amount of time trying to figure out what you meant before I realized you were referring to the gas... must be the lack of sleep :-)
I don't know. I don't even know if that is really what is bothering him when he's so cranky, just that he has *so* much gas period, how can it not!?
Is Little Tummies like Mylicon drops, or is it some kind of natural thing?
I also wondered if I could take something that would pass through to him, helping out the situation...
Oh, and Lynn, I would love to help you out by posting some pics, buuttt... Gabe took the camera to work tonight. Sorry :-)
Olivia doesn't like pacifiers and is gassy and colicky like her sis was. But she does like being rocked and swaddling tight helps her-which didn't work with M. I hope it passes soon for you! We do the hours of unconsolable crying every evening and its no fun- it passed by 3 months for M so I am hoping the same for her! And when are you available? I would love to get together next week!
