2012 Canning list
- One batch raspberry jam- This was evidence of God's protection. I was in such a hurry that I mistakenly picked up to flip a jar whose lid was not secure, dumping a 1/2 pint of HOT raspberry jam all over my hand and arm. Thankfully, I endured a few hours of pain, but did not have near the burn I would expect from dumping sticky boilingness on myself.

LOL!! My 2 1/2 year old is that way too...ha!
I love the words they make up for things. Today the same little one mentioned above came to me and asked me to go to the "party cushion" with her. Excuse me? I had no idea what she was talking about! My husband told her to show him and she took him by the hand back to her brother's bed. That's where Daddy likes to toss them around, and they jump together on the bed. I guess she just decided in her mind that it's the party cushion! Very fitting. And funny. :)
