I just started a new book that I bought at Costco today.
All I can say is Wow. I am about halfway through, and am pained that I can't sit down right now and finish it. I bought it thinking... Hm. Painful and emotional, just what I am not in the mood for... And yet bought it anyway, and I very, very rarely buy books brand new.
It's called The Shack, by William P. Young.
Any one read it yet? Impressions? I am not sure even what to say, but I will do a review when I am done.

2012 Canning list
- One batch raspberry jam- This was evidence of God's protection. I was in such a hurry that I mistakenly picked up to flip a jar whose lid was not secure, dumping a 1/2 pint of HOT raspberry jam all over my hand and arm. Thankfully, I endured a few hours of pain, but did not have near the burn I would expect from dumping sticky boilingness on myself.

Kari has been reading it for her book club, which is meeting to discuss it next weekend when she will be in Wenatchee. I think Ken also bought it before leaving on his trip, so maybe the 3 of you can have your own book club discussion that weekend.
