Question for Fellow Couponers...

What is the best way that you have found to store and take with you your load of coupons? I am still using the envelope system- I have them basically sorted, but still end up spending quite a bit of time in-store sorting and finding the ones I want.

I am wondering if anyone has tried the baseball-card sorting, or anything similar. I especially would like to get them out of my purse, but easy/big enough that I won't lose them either.

Thanks!!!

I put them in the baseball card thing...the only issue is that some don't fit well in there. Other than that I really like it because I can see them easily and I have my grocery item dividers arranged like the aisles in East Wen. Safeway since that is where I shop the most.

I've found when I know what "deals" I will do (which I pretty much always have to know before hand because otherwise I make too many mistakes and waste money) I paperclip the coupons in my binder together. That is probably not what you were asking though! For the albertson's deals I paperclip each transaction together because I do multiple ones each time.

Rachael- Ha! I used to do that, but every time I went "prepared," they would be missing something, or something would go wrong- so I considered the spending the time at home vs spending the time "working it" at the store- and the store kept working out better. Unless we were having a grumpy kid day, then we all lose ;-) I just wish I had a way to see more more efficiently. I do often paperclip the obvious ones, especially like w/ Albies- I know that even though I'm not using "this" one this time, I still take it out so it's on hand next time.
