2012 Canning list
- One batch raspberry jam- This was evidence of God's protection. I was in such a hurry that I mistakenly picked up to flip a jar whose lid was not secure, dumping a 1/2 pint of HOT raspberry jam all over my hand and arm. Thankfully, I endured a few hours of pain, but did not have near the burn I would expect from dumping sticky boilingness on myself.

Doesn't Gabe get out of it because he's law enforcement?? ANd shouldn't you get out of it because your husband got called for the same time?? My dad and I got called in for the same jury pool once...they didn't keep us very long!
Nope- he's tried before. They say they'll just put him on a civil trial instead of a criminal one.
I guess we'll let them know that we both got notices and just see what happens...
