I found that my 1 lb of hamburger meat made about 1 1/3 cups of hamburger rocks.
On the schedule for today: Plum Amaretto Jam and Mango Plum Jam

Okay, what in the world is a hamburger rock?!!? :)
LOL-hamburger rocks are twice cooked, dehydrated hamburger. You can reconstitute it to use in anything that calls for hamburger...other than hamburgers. :-)
That's crazy! I've never heard of such a thing! Have you tried it to see how they taste afterward?
No, I've never tried it, but the reviews/recipes I read in researching it all said that after it's reconstituted and cooked in something, you won't know the difference. We'll see soon enough! I have plans to use it to see how it works before I try to do anymore. But it's a great way to save hamburger when it's on sale and the freezer's full! (as long as it's stored properly :-)
