Tomorrow, at 3pm, barring any more distractions, illnesses, or other such nonsense, I will be getting my hair cut. Between the two of us, Gabe and I can't come to an agreement on what I should do.

Gabe wants it longer I take it?? I would definitely do enough to donate and then...I don't know. I always just tell Carlee (the gal who cuts mine) to do whatever she thinks would work well with my super fine hair.
I say have fun and do something different! Hair grows back, and your grows so quickly.
(Be sure to tell them how much or how little time you spend on your hair so they don't cut it in a way that would need styling every day.)
Most people are pretty good about suggesting cuts that are flattering to your face shape and needs (ponytail length).

Tough call. I personally like your hair longer. You should do what your comfortable with when the time comes. Cutting my hair is an emotional event, I don't do it often and I don't do much when I do. Long story..... No matter what, you'll still be beautiful. :)
