9 cents/lb pumpkins

Today only, the Food Pavilions have their pumpkins on sale for 9 pennies a pound.

Does anyone know of any better deals? If not, I am thinking I want to try to do this pumpkin puree, so gonna be pickin' up a few punkins :-)

Go to the pumpkin patch in Malaga! It's super fun and he'll give you a huge wagon full and just randomly pick a number like..hmmmm I guess I'll give you all that for $10 plus a few decorative corn stalks! Its so much fun and so inexpensive! Just bring clippers to cut the pumpkin off the vine! (he has all pumpkin varieties including baking ones!)

I remember Brooke talking about it and getting some way cute pictures, but where is it again? I know Malaga, so feel free to direct me from there..

And, um, what if I lost my loppers...??? Does he have some we can use?

Cool, if you find some good ideas for what to do with it, let me know. I've never really done, well, anything! with pumpkins, so this is all new!

(PS, you make me laugh Brooke!)

I'm making pumpkin bread and maybe trying to figure out how to make pumpking doughnuts like those that Joy had at the thing. Those sound good! We made massive amounts of homemade bread and a batch of cinnamon rolls today just because it's cold and bread is warm and smells good.

PS I'm glad that I amuse you! :-)
